I've stopped by lot's of times over the years, and always enjoyed my meal, whatever it was. Good cooking and a fantastic staff. Very dependable quality time and again.

They have really good food and have friendly family staff ....parking should be for people who spend money with them parking lot does not belong to pizza hut and if they want pizza the truck stop sells it too instead of using the parking lot just for sleeping and using the restroom and throwing their trash on the ground because a driver is too lazy to walk 15 feet to put trash in the trash can plus if they were a true truck driver instead of a steering wheel holder they wouldn't jack knife their truck to turn around they have 4 drive ways use them

BY FAR THE BEST BISCUIT AND GRAVEY IVE HAD IN AWHILE. Biscuit was fresh gravy was amazing. Plus nice portions

Great place for breakfast... Best thing is they open on time 6 a.m..... I have the pit ham and eggs with American fries very good every time... Coffee could use a little more lead in it kind of I on the weak side... Great service every time the young man that works mornings does an awesome job

I guess you can't say too much for a dinner out in the middle of no where. It was slim pickings but they had the essentials. Salad bar has no shredded cheese, depressing when you got the all you can eat plate. Over all prices were right in the middle and the staff is friendly.

The food is outrageously good! I have never ever been disappointed with a meal there.

Good people do a very good cuisine! Stop here and enjoy their medium rare steak!

Excelente home town food. The service was fast and friendly. The facilities are a little dated, but it's easily the best place to eat in Meade.

Oh my what a find this place was! A family owned place. Everyone wanted to be there and made sure everything was good 👍. My only surprise was ordering a tortilla scrambler and it came with no tortilla! Just the filling ingredients that tasted very good along with toast and hash browns. My daughter had the French toast and said it was the best she had ever had. Well worth a visit if you ever go this way. I should of backed up a bit to take the salad bar pic. It was in a Chuck wagon and was so cute!

An excellent experience! Everything you could ask for from a heartland steakhouse. I was passing through on a Saturday evening and had the hand cut 14 ounce ribeye, w/ baked potato, corn, Texas toast, a lap around the salad bar, (which was meticulously attended), and large sweet tea with several refills. The kind of place you don’t want to leave because you feel so at home.

Wasnt super busy even during lunch hour. Our server was very friendly and all the food was delicious!

Friendly staff excellent food. Restaurant was nice. The truck stop itself however is not a Love's or anything like that. Shower was ok. Caution in parking lot. It's dirt and has some deep craters. Go slow.

Waited over 20 min. for food. Smallest 2 egg order EVER! Huge plates & hardly any egg & 2 tiny strips of bacon on it...from what we've seen...great place to order buiskits & gravy & huge home-made Cinnamon Rolls...but everything we ordered, was lacking that we wouldn't go back! (5 adults)

Food was great and the server was so friendly and attentive despite them being pretty busy. Menu was fairly large too.

I travel a lot, ( like 100,000 miles a year lot) and been to a lot of restaurants. The food is very good. But the Salad bar is simply excellent. Some of the best tasting mixed salad digestive ever enjoyed.And if Millie is serving you, there is no better way to be served, friendly warm and helpful.Thanks again Millie.

On one visit I had an oven-baked meatball sub. Absolutely delicious! Very large servings for a very good price. Good friendly service. They have short hours though. I went by twice and they were closed, third time we ate there and it was so good we had to go back again. But we checked their hours closely first.

Great old school truck stop. Not the fanciest place, but clean and friendly. Good food, fair price, good menu selection.

Service was good, so we're the prices. The food wasn't, had biscuits and gravy and the biscuits were burned on bottom side. The scrambler has eggs,hash browns, your choice of meat,cheese all together, sounded good but hash browns tasted like they were either old or whatever they cooked them in was old. Had a torn up stomach about 15 minutes after leaving. Also they've got the worst parking lot I've ever seen. Semis and cars beware your vehicle falls into one of their holes you'll never get it out. Wouldn't even give 1 star, doesn't deserve it. Drive 40 miles further to Liberal and eat at the pancake house. It's worth it. Has semi parking and a good parking lot .

Outstanding service with a smile with consistent checkups to our table and friendly conversation. This is the way restaurants all over this great country use to be and I love that this place is still holding true to that way of food service customer relationships. Plus the food was excellent! Cooked to order with a good amount of servings.

If you're passing thru make sure you stop in here and get a bite to eat. Reasonable prices for grandma's cooking. Service was good. A good 20 truck parking spots. (The ham steak dinner was like breakfast side meat, not big at all but the omelet was delicious)

The service here is top notch! Our waitress was kind, had a great sense of humor, and never let our glasses get below 3/4 full. The food was so so but on the evening we went, they were short staffed so that may not have helped.

Stopped for breakfast on cross country drive. My steak and eggs was excellent as was my wife's breakfast burrito and homemade salsa. Prices were modest and portions large.The young man who waited our table was friendly and very helpful. Coffee was better than usual diner fare.
